About Me

I am a graduate of Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA (Marketing) from University of Lagos. I hold the professional diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK. A marketing and brand communication expert, with 19 years experience in two of the world’s biggest multinationals – Guinness (Diageo) and Coca-Cola. I have managed several brands, including several billion dollar brands and nurtured them to achieve sustainable growth.

I am currently the Principal Consultant of Purple Pearl Consulting Ltd – a collaborative community of creative talents who partner with clients to execute innovative ideas that sustainably grow market share . we offer services in brand management, concept ideation, business planning and human capital development (training & coaching).

I am passionate about building brands and helping individuals and organizations apply relevant marketing principles to build their corporate and personal brands. I am a firm believer that marketing principles can be applied to virtually every facet of life.

I have a drive to develop people; with an awareness that investing in capacity and capability will impact positively on individual & company goals; a philosophy that has made me an exceptional people manager and leader. I am a certified Personal Performance Coach; having trained at Europe’s largest coaching Academy – The Coaching Academy UK and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF)

I am passionate about women education & empowerment; this prompted me to start a blog “mypurpleroses” as a way of expression and connecting with diverse women on issues affecting them. I also founded a foundation – EveryGirl Empowered Foundation focussed on girls aged 11-15 years with the objectives to:

  • Provide a platform to boost the confidence in young girls to empower them take an active role among peers – in school, workplace and the community.
  • Prepare young women to be effective leaders locally and globally.
  • To help them overcome the beliefs and limitations holding them from achieving their full potentials.
